Assignment : First,watch the video on the color wheel and examine how colors are used in Art. Then, watch the video on the art work and biography of Andy Warhol. After the video answer the following questions :

Assignment 1:
After watching the color wheel video, go around your house and look for and gather objects that are the primary colors. Now look for and gather objects that are secondary colors. Have several of each color. Once you have all of your objects arrange them into a circle like this picture. Take a picture of it and download it to your Seesaw or Google account.
Turning in Work : 1. Answer the questions in complete sentences.
2. Third Graders: Upload the answers onto SEE SAW and place the work into the ART folder.
Fourth and Fifth Graders: Upload the answers onto GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
3. Label and Date your Work.

1. Students will fold their paper into 4 sqares. In the first square draw an object from pop culture. (it can be a cartoon character, a brand name, a team logo, etc) Then draw the same object 3 more times in the other boxes.
2. Once you have that object the way you want it then draw the same exact object the same way in all of the other boxes. Trace with black marker or Sharpie.
3. Next you are going to color in the objects using crayons. We are going to color it in using complementary colors. (red/green, blue/orange, yellow/violet and black and white.) Color neatly and color completely.
4. Last step is to color in the background of the objects. Each square should be colored in a different color. Color neatly and completely.
When finished put it on Artsonia.
