George Seurat Pointillism Project:
1. This project is going to take several days. Take your time and put your best effort into it. If you rush this you may ruin it.On a white piece of art paper you are going to draw a large tropical fish using your pencil. Sketch lightly because we will be erasing all pencil lines. Make sure your fish fills the page. You can also draw a second fish in your picture. I have included a couple of fish drawing videos to help you.
2. Using markers we are going to begin pointillism. We are going to begin adding color to our fish by only using dots of color. WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE COLORING IN SOLID. Please look at the 2 videos below to help you with pointillism.
3. Your fish needs to have multiple colors in it. Erase your pencil lines as you go. There should be no areas of the fish left white.
4. After your fish is complete you are going to lightly add sand, a couple of sea shells, a star fish and some seaweed. Then add pointillism dots to this background. You do not need to fill in the water. Erase any pencil marks as you go. Make sure to add enough dots to give good color.
Turning in Work : When your project is completed please take a picture and download it onto Seesaw or Google Classroom.
